1、首先要知道Jones是琼斯(姓氏）,复数形式是Joneses.the Joneses是“琼斯家”的意思.
而“琼斯家的”表述应为the Joneses‘
如果Jone也是个姓氏的话那此题D也能选,我不知道它是不是.
2、首先知道 at the suggestion of…… 是个词组,意为“在……的建议下”,排除C.
这里还有一个关键是present in yesterday's meeting “昨天出席会议的”,明显修饰对象是老师,故选A(若选B,修饰对象就变成suggestion了）.
3、其实AB的用法都是对的.但是A更好,因为当所有者为人时最好用 -'s 所有格表领属关系（记住就好）.
