After the customer had ordered the fridge,the salesman sent the order on to Warehouse A. First,the warehouse manager checked to see if the fridge was in stock but it wasn't available. After that he put the order aside and forgot about it for a couple of weeks.The salesman then rang up the manager of Warehouse A because his customer had not receive the order.The manager realised he had forgotten about it and when he had found the order again he sent it on to Warehouse B.The fridge wasn't available in Warehouse B either so the manager of Warehouse B sent the order on to Warehouse C.Unfortunately,the manager of Warehouse C was on holiday and no one could process the order until he had returned.By the time he came back to work after his holiday,another two weeks had gone by. He then checked to see if the fridge was in stock and found it was available.However,he couldn't deliver the fridge until he had sent the details of the order to the Accounts Department so that they could invoice the customer.After invoicing the customer,the Accounts Department authorised Warehouse C to deliver the fridge.As soon as the manager of Warehouse C had received the authorisation,he delivered the fridge to the customer.The customer finally got his fridge three months after he had ordered it .
