徐志摩是我国现代著名诗人、散文家、“新月派”灵魂人物.徐志摩故居是徐志摩与陆小曼婚后短暂居住地,建成于1926年,是一幢中西合璧式的小洋楼.为海宁市重点文物保护单位,2002年10月被国家旅游局评定为2A级旅游景点.故居建筑面积600平方米,前后两进,主楼三间二层,前带东西厢楼.后楼亦三间,屋顶有露台,可登临.故居台门上方有诗人表弟金庸的手书“诗人徐志摩故居”,正厅有匾曰“安雅堂”,乃启功补书.
主楼底层两侧有徐志摩家世、生平及思想和文学活动陈列,展示诗人短暂而绚丽多彩的一生.正厅、卧室、书房布置复原陈列,再现诗人的家境和生活场所.
