There is no electricity or water and even no textbooks too! I’m still struggling to adapt these conditions. However, one thing is for sure, I’ve become more imaginative in my teaching. Science is my most challenge subject as my students had no concept of doing experiments. In the fact there is no equipment, and if I need water I have to carry them from my house in a bucket! Although the conditions of the classroom are extreme poor， many of the students are still willing to walk a long way to get to school. I not only intend to share my knowledges with my student, but also my love and care. Being a volunteer teacher in Africa is not easy, so I’m determined to overcome the difficulty I have teach those students. |
