As many as 20% of all children in the United States suffer from some form of the learning disorder called dyslexia（读写困难症）.
Experts on dyslexia say that the problem is not a disease． They say that persons with dyslexia use information in a different way. For every five men in the Civil War who died in battle , two or three died of disease. Doctors of that time knew very little about causes of sickness or ways of preventing it.
