The meaning of the festivals is to celebrate the important events,and there are many different festivals in each year.In the ancient time,people lacked food so they always starved to death.Only in the specials day could they have a big meal to feed themselves up.Spring Festival,one of the most significant festivals in China,celebrates the arrival of new lunar year as well as the time when the whole family are able to gather together.The night before Spring Festival is the time when people wear the new clothes and have a good meal with family.In additon,adults are accustomed to giving lucky money to their kids,which represents their wishes good luck to them.In many places,people light the firework and the dumplings are the most traditonal food.So,most of the kids look forward to the coming of Spring Festival for the reason that they can eat delicious food,wear new clothes and play happily.Most importantly,they can get the lucky money from their parents and other relatives.
