making palstic dolls from her daughter.One day when Ruth saw her daughter playing
with a paper doll ,she decided to invent a new plastic fashion doll and name it afer her
daughter Barbara.
Ruth said that she created Barbie because she believed that little girls needed dolls.
As she once said"Through this doll,a little girl can be someone she want to be."
