(1)说明pressure是从拉丁词语premere（to press）发展过来的．是premere(to press)的〔过去分词形式演变的名词〕pressus （action of pressing）.我们可以看出这里的pressure和pressus的形式很相象．
(2)pressure的表面意思是从1601年开始的．字面意思就是压(to press)的名词．但是这个意思到现在已经蜕变成不重要含义了．
(3)后来发展到1660年．出现了这个词语的科学衍生意义．也就是现在的物理学上的压力
