Once upon a time, there was a spider with the name Anansi. He knew that he was very clever but he also knew he wasn’t wise(英明的). He didn’t like this, but he did not know what to do. It was the first day of second grade, and Sarah had been looking forward to this moment. The night before,she laid out her favorite clothes: a white coat and a bright yellow shirt.

Rita stepped into the cool, moving water. She pushed a black inner tube in front of her. She had a worried look on her face because she had never floated down a river before.
