The First Time I Went on a Plane The first time I went on a plane was when I went to Hong Kong with my dad. When I just saw the plane, I thought it was very big. But when there were a lot of passengers who sat on the plane, it wasn"t very big anymore. It could carry more than 500 people. That was so amazing! When the plane flew up into the sky, my ears started to hurt. It hurt me so much that I wanted to cry. I said to myself, "Don"t cry. I can"t cry." But I couldn"t hold back my tears. "If you chew (嚼) a piece of gum, it will stop the harm," dad said. When I heard what my dad said, I chewed a piece of gum. But it was no use. My ears still hurt. Now when I think about going on a plane, I will be very scared. Since then, I have hated taking the plane, but I love my motherland. I"d like to go to China to look a tour beautiful mountains and rivers. I hope that I can slowly be fit to go on a plane. |
