spent three years playing games and talking to others through a computer. Eventually computer games have

        According to the survey, many students become addicted to computer games and some even play
computer games for a long time without eating and bathing, which has bad effect on their studies and
health.
        From my point of view, I am strongly against students’ playing computer games because it causes
many disadvantages. First, students addicted to computer games can’t concentrate on their study and there
fore they may fall behind the other students and their scores get worse and worse. Second, spending too
much time playing computer games instead of taking exercise will do harm to the students’ eyesight and
make their body in bad condition. Third, some computer games are full of violence, blood and sex, where
students may imitate them and do something wrong to society.
        In conclusion, students should keep off computer games even though they have no lessons. They
should make full use of time to work hard at their lessons and take more exercise for the sake of their
future.

honor three college students who died rescuing two children from the Yangtze River on October 24.
Thousands of people holding chrysanthemum flowers went to the Jingzhou Memorial House to see off the
teenagers, all 19-year-old students from the Yangtze University based in Jingzhou City.
        The trio were Chen Jishi, He Dongxu and Fang Zhao. More than 10 students from the Yangtze
University formed a ladder with one student holding another"s arms to rescue the two boys in the river on
the afternoon of October 24. One of the students lost his grip on his classmates and all of them were in
danger. Several members of a winter swimming team nearby came to help. Chen Jishi, He Dongxu and
Fang Zhao were swept away in the torrent, but others were saved. People touched by their selfless act had
donated more than 500,000 yuan ($73,206) to their relatives as of Wednesday, Zhang said. Millions of
Internet users made online comments on major news portals to show their grief.
        "I am also a college student. I feel sorrow for you," said "Liu Zhuoya," from northwestern Xi"an City.
However, some questioned the sacrifice. "Sacrifice three and rescue two, is that worthwhile?" asked "Tiao
zhantianya" on the forum of www.163.com. "Rescue can not be blind as they could not swim."

     Honesty is one of the most treasured traditional values in China. The children are taught to be honest
when they are very young. At schools the students are also instructed to be honest.
     However, with the development of society, we often hear complaints about dishonesty. Reports with
the theme of dishonesty often appear in the media. For example, some people try to get rich and live a
comfortable life. But they do not work hard honestly, instead they cheat others. They sell something quite
ordinary at a very high price. Some people"s delaying paying back the loan can serve as another example. Some people, including some college students, get loan from the bank, and promise to pay within, say,
3 years. However, they don"t do that.
     The dishonest people sometimes can get benefit from their behaviors. So some people assert that
dishonesty can bring people benefit, while honesty only makes people suffer. Is that so? Definitely not.
It is always true that honesty is the best policy. It pays to be honest. The cheater selling "the treasure"
mentioned above will surely be disclosed and punished some day.
     On the contrary, if he had been honest, neither the buyer nor he himself would have suffered. The
people who do not return money in time will sooner or later become infamous, and will not get the
money from others again. If he had acted differently, he would have earned respect and trust, meanwhile,
the bank would not have suffered from loss.
