the next day常用于过去时或过去将来时的句子中,是相对于上文中那一天的第二天,特指并有强调the day和the next day的意味.next day通常用在将来时,在这个故事的叙述中,next day就相当于tomorrow,虽然因为讲故事用过去时,但是和前面说的过去时、过去将来时的情况下用the next day还是有区别.
