Currently ADE has won three MDO(mine developer and operator)contracts where two of the mines are situated in eastern India while the output is expected to be supplied to western states.For instance,the Machhakatta mine is in Orisaa(east) while the output needs to be supplied to the State Electricity Board in Gujarat and in Maharashtra (west),while the parsa Kente mine is in Chhattisgarh(east) and the output will be shipped to Rajasthan(west).These two mines,together,at peak production will have a combined output of 45MT.Additionally,adani enterprises is in the process of bidding for more mines under the MDO model where there is a possibility that some of the mines may provide additional opportunity for coastal traffic.
