Consider how the current international financial situation has affected the balance of payment and discuss what you think might be the long term consequence.
Rationale
This item links international trade to the world business environment.In particular,the student is expected to demonstrate their appreciation of current world events and be able to demonstrate their own projection of the long term events which may flow from current situations.
Marking criteria
Approximately half the marks will be awarded for demonstrating an appreciation of the current world environment.The balance of the marks will be awarded for the student’s projection of the long term outcomes of current events.
