1.The two boys are of the same age.
2.The two boys are the same age.
以上两句意思都是这两个男孩有着相同的年纪.
请问有时候用 be of句型 和直接用be句型意思完全一样.
那具体说明情况下采用be of 句型呢?还是以上两句例句是有区别的?求指教?

注意,由原先的形容词转变过来的句子通常需要用be of--- 结构,如：
1 this book is very useful to us students===this book is of great / much use to us students.
2 this vase is of much value== this vase is very valuable.
3 The two boys are of the same age.= The two boys are the same age.== the two boys are of an age.
