For more than one month, people in China have been worried about the fate of the 239 people, including 154 Chinese passengers, on board Air Malaysia Flight MH370. However, today no matter how sad we are and how many details that are not clear, it is certain that flight MH370 crashed in the Indian Ocean and no one on board is alive. All the people in the world can do is to continue to look for the wreckage(残骸), talk with the Malaysian government for more information and accept the terrible fact.
People in China have been very disappointed with Malaysia Airlines these days. They do their best to show the Malaysian government that we will never give up knowing the truth. On the other hand, the number of Chinese people who choose to take a trip in Malaysia has been smaller and smaller. Many Chinese people including some famous movie stars say that they will never go to Malaysia any more.
At present, there’s a totally new expression coming out after this event. That is, “Don’t be so Malaysia.” People use it to describe someone who is unbelievable and likes telling lies to hide the truth.

We are always using body language in our daily communication. When we talk with each other, we may use body language. For example, in the USA, people point to their heads when they think someone is clever. However, human beings (人类) are not the only ones who use body language. Animals also use body language and facial expressions (面部表情) to tell each other how they feel and what they think.
When a dog is happy, its ears will stand up and its ears will wide open. When it is angry, it will look straight at you. If an elephant spreads its ears, it means “ Watch out!”  To show friendship, elephants will touch each other with their trunks(鼻子). Dolphins(海豚) live in groups and like to show each other their feelings. An angry dolphin will sometimes slap(拍) its tail(尾巴) on the water. A happy dolphin will play with its friends, making small jumps into the air. Not only humans but also animals can use body language to communicate, but the things they “say” to each other are different.
根据短文内容判断句子正误,正确的写A,错误的写B。(10分)
小题1:Only human beings use body language.
小题2:A happy dog will look straight at you.
小题3:Elephants use their trunks to touch each other to show their friendship.
小题4:When a dolphin is angry, it often makes small jumps into the air.
小题5:The passage is about body language.

What is language for? Some people seem to think it’s for practicing grammar rules and learning lists of words. That’s wrong. Language is for exchange of ideas, for communication.
The way to learn a language is to practice speaking it as often as possible. A great man once said it is necessary to practice as much as possible. And the more you use it in real situations, the more natural it will become.
Learning any language takes a lot of effort. But don’t give up. Relax! Be patient and enjoy yourself. Learning foreign languages should be fun. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Work harder and practice more. Your hard work will be rewarded by God one day. God is equal to everyone!
Use a dictionary and a grammar guide constantly(不断地). Keep a small English dictionary with you at all time. When you see a new word, look it up. It can help you. Think about the word—use it, in your hand, in a sentence.
Try to think in English whenever possible. When you see something, think of the English word, then think about the word in a sentence.
Practise tenses as many as possible. When you learn a new verb, learn its various forms.
Learn more about the culture behind the language. When you understand the cultural background, you can better use the language.
