Have you ever complained (抱怨) why life is so tiring? Does the sky sometimes    dark to you? Are your lessons sometimes not successful? Well, friends, cheer up and      all the time. If you see the world with your warm heart, you will find the whole world smiling to you..
Not long ago, a friend of mine decided to read a lot of books to get      knowledge. So he went to the library and     happily with several books. But after a few days, he felt bored. The idea of finishing all of the books seemed     , because it was     for him to sit quietly to read a whole book. He didn’t know what to do. Then one day, he suddenly thought of “Why not make reading fun?” It gave him      again. Reading is a journey of spirit(心灵之旅). Every time when we     a book, we are actually talking     the writer. Since then, he tried to spend more time reading books, so he could feel all of the writer’s happiness and sadness. And reading is    boring, but kind of interesting.
Attitude can make a great     . Someone once said, “    the situation is bad, people are free to choose their attitude.” So, don’t complain about the situation. It helps     . For example, one day the weather is fine. You and your friends want to go for a picnic. Just before you go, it  suddenly starts to rain. Maybe you would feel very      and start to complain about the weather. But dear friends, why  don’t you sit down and listen to the free concert that the nature brings you? And with the timely rain, crops(庄稼) in the fields will grow better and farmers will have a good harvest (收成).
Attitude decides everything. With an optimistic (乐观的) attitude, life is easy and happy. Let’s smile to     we meet and the whole world will smile to us.

My earliest memory of dad is grabbing (抓住) his hand while we walked together. As I    older, I remembered my father and I listened to many basketball games on the radio. I always fell asleep    the game was over. When I woke up in the morning, the score sheet (计分表) with the    score on it would be lying next to me. I’ll always remember that.
On cold mornings my father would drive his bread truck by the house. I used to ride on the floor of that bread truck as he delivered (分送) the bread to the stores. The  and the warmth from the bread made me hungry and kept me warm. I’ll always remember that.
My father would attend all my games. The next day as the game time drew near, I thought about my dad. I happened to look across the field and  saw his bread truck pulling into the stadium (体育场). He tried to make the game. I’ll always remember that.
Years later I became a teacher. I’ll never forget the voice on the phone early one morning telling me dad had just been killed in a traffic accident. I could hear my heart beat in my ears. I    up the phone and went back to my bedroom. After that nothing was very important to me. One day I was on the playground when a little boy walked up to me and grabbed my hand. His hand held mine the    way I used to hold my father’s by the last two fingers. At that moment I found my    in life again. You see even though my father was gone, he left something with me. My brother and I often fight with each other over small things. One day our father said to us, “Tomorrow we will take part in the Ray Home Sports Day. Both of you must go with me. Perhaps you can learn something from those children.” My brother laughed, “Dad, Ray is a home for physically disabled children. What can we learn from them?”
“You will see,” our father said.
Our father works as a volunteer at Ray. The children there have problems with their hands, speech, walking or hearing. Every day, he spends hours helping them to move or exercise their legs or arms.
The following day, he took us to Ray Home. When we got there, we found a nice place to sit down. Finally, the sports began. There was a 50-meter race to see who could run fastest. All the runners were physically disabled. As the race started, all the children moved as fast as they could. Just then, one of the girls fell over and hurt her leg. She began to cry at the top of her voice.
