There are many destructive (破坏性的) forces when it comes to nature, which have destroyed whole cities and killed many people. They’re really terrible, but they occur somewhat often, and this is why you see so many charities these days which focus their efforts on helping people who have been affected by natural disasters.
While the world is a very beautiful place to live in, there will always be parts of the world where natural disasters happen more often than in other places, where properties and lives are destroyed. Only the people who live in the country where tsunamis and earthquakes as well as other disasters occur experience these, and we can only imagine the suffering that they go through.
For some people out there, the world is cruel, but they have no choice but to stay where they are. A lot of the time people simply cannot afford to move away, as they might not be able to get a job when they leave.
In 2004, there was a tsunami in the Indian Ocean. A tsunami is a large wave that towers hundreds of feet into the air, and covers whole areas when it comes crashing down on to dry land. This particular tsunami was caused by an earthquake that happened in the middle of the sea, shooting the water away from the ground and towards dry land. This tsunami actually reached thirty meters in height, and was one of the worst tidal waves the world has ever seen. Over 200,000 people were hurt in the disaster.
In 2005, we also saw a hurricane happened in the United States. This hurricane was known as hurricane Katrina, and is perhaps the worst in the history of the world. It happened in 2005 and destroyed millions of properties in the area. It also took the lives of nearly 2,000 American people. It was known that for ten days, the wind swept through the area, meaning the most powerful country in the world became helpless in their attempts to save the people who were affected by the hurricane.
Finally, in 2008 we saw yet another natural disaster. This time it was a cyclone (旋风), which is similar to a hurricane but happens in a circular motion (圆周运动). This cyclone Nargis had been one of the strongest to have ever occurred, reaching a death toll of nearly 150,000 people.
All of these were terrible disasters that were unavoidable.

It is interesting to know what people of different nations like to be best.
In France, when a woman enters a café or restaurant, she is freely discussed, not only about her appearance but about her past and future as well. She invites looks in the street whether she is beautiful or plain. There is no better way for a woman to get back her self-confidence than a walk in the streets of Paris or Marseilles, and woman really like that.
In Italy, people love talking. They sit about in cafes, exchanging news and discussing politics. They do not hesitate to ask questions about the family, income and private life of anybody who happens to be there.
The Swiss eat as a pastime. Ladies walk into a teashop, eat a couple of ice creams and a large piece of chocolate cake, and then leave, complaining about their weight.]
For the Americans, the greatest fondness is said to be the push of buttons. You push a button in the lift, you push a button for cigarette, chewing gums, stamps, even for a life insurance. You can even push a button to get married and another button to get divorced.
In England, waiting in a line is national passion. The English will form a line whether they have the opportunity or not. Long queues can be seen, for example, at stations when the train is practically empty and everybody can have a seat.

It"s good to make mistake, and here is why.
小题1:   It’s always good to try new things because when you are trying new things you are growing. If you never try anything new, how can you improve? How can you expand? How can you innovate? The simple answer is "You can"t". Look around you. With very few exceptions, either everything you see in your physical world or every single detail of every single thing is the result of someone trying something new.
Another good thing about mistakes is this.  小题2:   Consider this: Edison failed 10000 times before he perfected the light bulb. When asked how it felt to fail that many times, he remarked that he hadn"t failed 10000 times, but rather had learned 10000 things that didn"t work.
Finally, when you make a mistake you are much closer to success. Why? Because when all is said and done, you will have tried some limited number of things before you succeed.   小题3:
But this all doesn"t mean that you should go ahead with disregard for the consequences of a mistake. Quite the contrary, you have to be willing to set some reasonable limits if it doesn"t work out the way you want it to.   小题4:
We all have limited resources in the form of time and money, so don’t blow them all on one approach to a problem. Realize that it probably won"t be perfect the first time and allocate these resources appropriately so you can learn, modify, and try it again. Only by embracing and using your mistakes in this way can you make significant advances in your business and your career.
There is an old truth that goes, "  小题5:
So go forth and make mistakes. And learn. And grow. And prosper.
A.First of all, mistakes are a clear sign that you are trying new things.
B.Only those who do nothing make no mistakes.
C.If you"re not making mistakes, you"re not trying hard enough.
D.When you are making mistakes, you are learning.
E. You should take mistakes as stepping stone to future success.
F. You should guarantee you will be in a position to succeed again.
G. Every time you made a mistake you remove one of those things and are one step closer.

For most people, it is almost impossible to operate on a computer without a mouse, let alone surf the Internet. A well-chosen mouse is really handy, flexible and convenience in controlling the screen. Without the functions of inserting, deleting, moving and copying, it enables us to edit text, browse web pages and download that we want. It can even bring us a flood of musics, movies and PC games. Just imagining, all that can be done with a cute mouse.
A convenient tool can certain make our work easier, and it doesn’t always help in a positive way. Too much ready information on our fingertips leaves a little room for knowledge pursuing. Too many ready answers make us less excited in finding truth. Relying too much on mouse clicking make us much lazier and less creative.

We are now living in an information world that TV, cell phones and the Web are wide used. It seems that many people can not enjoy them without them. However, if I had to give up one of them, I will turn off the TV rather than switch off my cell phone and cut off the Internet. I could do without TV because few show take my fancy and there’re too many commercials. Besides, most programs on the TV are also available elsewhere. As for cell phones and the Web, they are more necessarily to me. I need a cell phone to keep touch with my friends and family, and almost all information can be gather on the Internet.
