Last weekend, I interviewed Professor Pan about how to survive in an earthquake. According to Professor Pan, it is very important to stay calm when an earthquake happens. If we stay in a building, we must try to cut off electricity and gas, and then stay in a place with little space, such as staying in the toilet, under a desk or a bed. After the earthquake, we should leave the dangerous area immediately in case of strong aftershocks. If a person is unfortunately enough and is buried by the ruins, he or she should try saving himself or herself, and if without success, she or he should try to save strength and wait for rescue. |
