阅读下面微博上的短文,然后按要求写一篇150词左右的英语短文。
I have know Li Yong, my friend, since my childhood and we have been studying in the same class of the same middle school, so we have been together almost every day and have built up very close friendship. Li Yong actually used to be a good example for me to follow because be was a top student in study and got along very well with us fellow classmates. He was once responsible, active, positive and s army guy street with himself, so both teachers and classmates thought well of him. However, 3 months ago, everything changed. He often came late for class. When at class, be often did something that had mouthing to do with study. Last week, he even fought with a student of another class over a very small thing, which had a very bad influence on our class. He let us all a little bit down! But this afternoon, when school was over, he was alone in the classroom, writing something with a knife on his desk. Coming closer to him I found carved on the desk were the words: “For my class, I must change! Action speaks louder than words.” From these words I could read his determined mind, which make me moved, while at the same time, it seemed as if the desk were crying and wanted to say something to him because of the carving. |
答案
Li Yong, once a good student, became a very disappointing one. Having realized that, he carved some encouraging words on the desk to show his determination, which gave Li Hua a mixed feeling. Li Hua, a good friend of Li Yong’s, was moved by his words, for the words showed he has realized his fault and decided to change. It also shows he is responsible and can face his mistakes bravely. However, curving on a desk is not right at all. If I were the desk, I would tell him: the knife carving hurts me and makes me look ugly. As the public property of our school, you should love me. You said action speaks louder than words. Why not keep the words in mind and take actions to behave well? As teenage students, we must remember that study comes first. So I often help my classmates with difficulty so that we can make progress together. Also we should encourage each other so as to make our class a better one. Only in this way, can we be good students in school, and make great contribution to the country in the future. |

My grandma whom we all called Nanny was a solid, first-generation, Italian immigrant. She came to this country with her family on a tiny ship during World War I when she was only 8 years old. During the trip she survived stormy seas, little food, and an attack by a German U-boat. After getting here, her large family worked hard to build a new life in America. They never had much money but were rich in love. One day, when I was about 5 or 6 years old, my parents and brothers went on a trip. It was just me and Nanny in the house for the weekend. Nanny seemed so happy to be taking care of me all by herself. She made me a special breakfast that first morning. However, all I could do was to complain about how the food was not how Mom always made it. Nanny quietly put down the plate and went into the living room. I followed a minute later and saw that she had tears in her eyes. It was the first time I had ever seen my strong and proud grandmother cry and I was the one who had caused it. I walked over to Nanny, climbed on her lap, and for the first time in my short life I did something else too. I apologized without being told to and asked Nanny to forgive me. She smiled, rubbed my head, and told me I was a good boy even though I didn’t feel like one then. That memory just like my Nanny’s love will stay in my heart forever. It is a sign of both strength and wisdom. Asking for forgiveness helps us to learn, to grow, and to love. 小题1:Nanny,s family immigrated to America mainly because _____.A.they suffered starvation in their homeland | B.they wanted to start a rich life in the new land | C.they tried to get away from the terrible climate | D.their country was in war and they needed peace | 小题2:The boy complained to Nanny that the food _____.A.wasn"t cooked the way his mom did | B.was served a bit later than usual | C.was prepared in a special way | D.was just to his parents, taste | 小题3:When seeing Nanny crying in the living room, the author felt _____.A.surprised | B.ashamed | C.shocked | D.annoyed | 小题4:The author mainly wants to tell us that _____.A.forgiveness can be beneficial to people asking for it | B.hardships can make children more indifferent | C.grandparents are more tolerant than their grandchildren | D.family ties can sometimes be misused |

I stopped to watch my little girl busy playing in her room. In one hand was a plastic 36 ; in the other a toy broom. I listened as she was speaking to her make-believe(假装) little friend and I’ll never forget the words she said, even though it was imagined. She said, “Suzie’s in the corner because she’s not been very 37 . She didn’t listen to a 38 I said or do the things she should.” In the 39 I saw her baby doll all dressed in lace and pink. It was 40 she’d been put to sit alone and 41 . My daughter 42 her “conversation”, as I sat down on the floor. She said, “I’m all fed up. I just don’t know 43 to do with her any more. Signs can sometimes be seen at the entrance of a house, expressing that a tramp(流浪汉)has passed. This special sign-language is frequently 50 by tramps to inform their 51 whether the host of a certain house is friendly or unfriendly, and to 52 them the trouble of making unnecessary calls. Quite 53 one day, I came across a real tramp. He was such a rare sight these days that I stood some distance away and watched him. He was dressed just as a tramp should be in, old worn trousers, and a jacket many sizes too big for him. On his head there was a battered old hat and his boots were so old and worn; they were almost coming into pieces. But the man himself looked cheerful as if he had not a 54 in the world. He rubbed his nose with his forefinger, 55 a funny turn, laid a small parcel 56 the front gate, and began 57 a sign made by a former caller. Although the sign was meaningless to me, it must have been 58 , for the tramp’s face lit up with satisfaction. He entered the front gate 59 and rang the bell. When the door opened, I saw him raise his hat 60 couldn’t hear his words. The 61 was very short indeed, for no sooner had he spoken a few words than the door closed fiercely in his face. I felt 62 for him as he walked sadly out of the house. But just as quickly, his face lit up again and he moved quickly towards the gate. There he stopped, looked at the sign, and shook his head seriously as if he had made a bad mistake. 63 deeply into his pockets, he produced a piece of chalk, rubbed out the existing sign and made a new one in its place. He stared at it for a moment smiling to himself, then gathered his belongings, pushed back his hat and began walking towards the next house at an unhurried 64 , whistling as he went along.
