The problem of wetland protection is being paid more and more attention to. Although government departments have made a great many tries ,yet there were not so many preferable effects. This paper tries to analyse the wetland protection status and existing problems in Changzhou from the aspects of the urban ecological security and promotion of the urban ecological grade . In addition, the ways of the wetland protection and the construction are explored in the paper in order to achieve the goal of the sustainable utilization of the wetland resources, and at the same time to provide possible ideas for the same type of urban wetland protection and construction .
