《科学毁了我的晚餐》概要
作者通过现代人的共识：“食品一年比一年变得难吃”,引发了我们现代社会“滥用科学”到食品领域的深思.
人们过份的用经济指标来衡量一切,老式的奶酪没有人生产了,因为它易于运输,太不“经济”了.标准化的连锁店挤垮了独立店铺,“标准化”成为降低成本的一个主要方法.
科学家们运用各种科学技术,使得种植出来的蔬菜产量越来高,但味道却越来越差,甚至连每种蔬菜独有的风味也逐渐在抹杀.
这种“滥用科学”的结果是,丰富的食物越来越来“千篇一律”了,而人类自身呢,是不是也要变得统一化、标准化、类似化呢?
作者自身作为一个科学迷,对这种“滥用科学”的现状感到担忧,为了人类未来的发展,不禁为此急呼!
