One day Confucius (孔子) talked with a little boy.The boy asked him some questions.“Do you know the number of hair on your head?” “I can’t see my own head.How can I count it?” answered Confucius.
“Then the stars in the sky can be seen.Do you know how many stars there are in the sky?” added the boy.“There are innumerable (无数的) tars in the sky that I can’t count them,” said Confucius in embarrassment (窘迫地).“But there is only one sun in the sky.Do you know how far it is from us?” Confucius could say nothing,then he said,“ I really do not know the things you asked.I am willing (情愿) to take you as my teacher.”
From then on,Confucius often told his students.“Among any three people,there must be one who can be my teacher.”

答案

某日孔子与一个小男孩交谈.这个男孩问了他一些问题.“你知道你头上有多少根头发吗?”“我看不到自己的头,要怎么数呢?”孔子回答.
“那么你可以看见天上的星星,你知道天上有多少颗星星吗?”小男孩接着问.“天空中有无数颗星星,我并不能数清.”孔子窘迫的回答道.“但是天上只有一个太阳,你知道他距离我们有多远吗?”孔子无话可说,然后他讲道,“我的确不知道你所问的事情.我情愿认你做我的老师.”
从那以后,孔子就经常告诉他的弟子：“三人行,必有我师.”
