go to dinner and have a very good time. This is usually when her Mom isn"t around, and this is when my little girl and I relate better. They"re alone together so much. We"re seldom alone. The easy way out isn"t always easiest. I learned that lesson when I decided t
o treat Doug, my husband of one month, to a special meal. I glanced through my cookbook and chose a menu which included homemade bread. Knowing the bread would take time, I started on it as soon as Doug left for work. As I was not experienced in cooking, I thought if a dozen was good, two dozen would be better, so I doubled everything. Since 1989, Dave Thomas, who died at age 69, was one of the most recognizable faces on TV. He appeared in more than 800 commercials (商业广告) for the hamburger chain named for his daughter. “As long as it works," he said in 1991, “I"ll continue to do those commercials."
Even though he was successful, Thomas remained troubled by his childhood. “He still won"t let anyone see his feet, which are out of shape because he never had

At the end of my senior year of high school, I got a job working at a local coffee shop．I thought the job would be easy and stress-free．I pictured myself pouring the best coffees, making delicious doughnuts (炸面包圈), and becoming friends with regular customers．
