Abstract
At present,the writings in classic style which have been chosen as the middle school texts are masterworks in ancient Chinese prose.They are the essence of Chinese cultural heritage,the spiritual wealth which our nation proud of and the inexhaustible treasure by us and our generations.However,the real situation of the teaching of writings in classic style is not good,some of them are worried by people.The teaching has many problems,one way or another.This paper studys on the teaching of classic prose in middle school,analyzes the problems and errors existed in the teaching practice and proposes some suggestions on how to teach chinese classic prose of middle school.
