第一句的needs后面为什么接的是动名词形式而不是动词原形呢?

need,want,deseve 后面加上动词ing表示被动,意思分别为“有必要、需要、值得做...”相当于to be +动词过去分词.如：The book deserves reading.The house wants cleaning.
need加上动词原形或to do,表示主动,如：You need get up early tomorrow.I need to clean the room as soon as possible.
